Our physician reviews every item with you prior to each injection.
Common reactions (may occur shortly after injection)
- Mild redness (Common after injection · resolves within 1–2 hours)
- Temporary swelling (Reported by a small number of clients on Day 0–1 · resolves within 24 hours)
- Bruising (approximately 3–8% likelihood · resolves within 3–7 days · Arnica may help accelerate recovery)
- Injection site tenderness (24 hours · similar to a mosquito-bite sensation)
- Temporary skin tightness (HA Common during the hydration absorption phase · resolves within 1–3 days)
- Extremely mild sensation of facial relaxation from Botox® (rare with the baby-skin formula · virtually absent under an evidence-based dosing protocol)
Serious risks (rare but must be disclosed)
- allergic reaction— Extremely rare · primary risk relates to lidocaine / glutathione / formula ingredients · 24K gold-coated needles minimize nickel allergy risk
- Botox associated ptosis (upper eyelid droop) / asymmetry of expression— Extremely rare · highly unlikely at the micro-diluted doses used · if it occurs, typically resolves naturally within 4–6 weeks
- Infection— Rare · preventable with strict sterile technique · treatment is contraindicated during an active herpes simplex outbreak
- persistent skin papules / nodules— Extremely rare · most often associated with overly superficial HA injection · dissolvable with hyaluronidase
- bruising / subcutaneous hematoma— Uncommon · The ultra-fine 24K gold-plated needles carry a significantly lower incidence rate than conventional needles
- Injection site infection— Extremely rare · mitigated by single-use needles and strict sterilization protocols
Absolute contraindications (will not perform)
- Pregnancy / breastfeeding
- HA / Botox / History of allergy to lidocaine / glutathione
- myasthenia gravis / Lambert-Eaton syndrome (contraindicated for Botox®-containing formulas)
- Autoimmune conditions affecting the skin (lupus erythematosus / scleroderma / sarcoidosis)
- Active infection at the injection site / active herpes simplex outbreak / active acne flare
- Keloid or abnormal scarring tendency
- Acute fever, active flu, or severe immunosuppression
- Recent injection of non-biocompatible fillers (PMMA / silicone oil)
- Minors (under 18 years of age)
